To find books in the GSU Library, search one of our catalogs, GIL-Find or GIL. Both catalogs search the same materials, so choose whichever search tool you prefer.
GIL-Find is our newer catalog and includes features like call number texting, automatic citations and faceted searching (click links down the left side to narrow your search). GIL offers more precise search features for experienced searchers.
You can also find other materials like DVDs and periodicals in GIL or GIL-Find, but not articles – to search for articles, use one of our article databases.
Other library catalogs you may need:
- GIL-Find Universal searches all University System of Georgia libraries. Request books from these libraries by using the “GIL Express Request” link at the top or bottom of each book page.
- WorldCat searches nationwide and international libraries. Request any book in WorldCat via our Interlibrary Loan (ILL) service.
Use our Floor Maps to locate books and other materials.
