Request Methods Accepted:
We prefer that requests be submitted via OCLC (WorldCat Resource Sharing/ILLiad). If you do not have access to OCLC, please use our online web form. First time users, please contact us by email to obtain a username and password. Please include a contact person's name, Ariel address (if applicable), email address, and shipping/billing address. We no longer accept requests via fax, email, Ariel, or phone.
Fees and Billing Policies:
We supply material free to ARCHE, USG, GOLD, and ASERL libraries. We do not charge SOLINE libraries for loans, or for articles if you do not charge us for articles.

Our standard loan period for returnables is six weeks with no renewal.
All loans are subject to immediate recall if requested by one of our own patrons.
We ship loans via 1st class mail to Alaska and Hawaii, and to academic, public, and government libraries paying rush fees. We ship via international airmail outside the United States. All other loans are shipped library rate unless you supply your UPS or FedEx account number. We supply articles via Ariel, Odyssey, 1st class mail, or international airmail. We do not supply articles as email attachments. We consider requests for fax delivery on a case by case basis.
Material which does not circulate:
Periodicals, audio-visual material, reference material, maps, computer files. We consider requests for VHS format on a case by case basis for ARCHE and USG libraries only. We do not loan or copy from our Special Collections and Archives through Interlibrary Loan. They consider copy requests on a case by case basis. GSU theses and dissertations:
Most GSU theses and dissertations submitted since December 2004 are available in electronic format in ScholarWorks @ Georgia State University. University Library has two copies of most theses and dissertations submitted before December 2004: a circulating copy and a copy held in our Special Collections and Archives. We lend print format dissertations and theses through Interlibrary Loan only if a circulating copy is available.
