Endowments – Many individuals choose to give an enduring gift to Georgia State by creating an endowed fund. After reaching $25,000, the principal of the endowment is invested. About 4% is rolled off every year into the spendable fund and used in accordance with the purpose of the fund. Gifts can be made to both the principal to grow the endowment and to the spendable fund to address immediate needs.
Funds – Funds are non-endowed but still fulfill specific needs of the Library. The entire amount of a fund is available for use in accordance with the purpose of the fund.
