The University Library strives to provide the best possible access to materials and services for patrons with disabilities. View the library’s services for patrons with disabilities.

The library encourages patrons with disabilities to pre-arrange adaptive assistance. Available assistance includes materials retrieval from collections; library orientation or research consultation; instruction in specific equipment operation; referrals to campus and off-campus resources; and other reasonable accommodations.

The University Library, Atlanta Campus provides access to the following hardware and software, located on the 2nd floor of Library North:

  • 27-inch monitor
  • JAWS
  • Premier to Go (ptg)
  • Inspiration 8
  • Read & Write Gold
  • Zoomtext
  • Dragon Naturally Speaking
  • SARA (Scanning and Reading Appliance)
  • CCTV device
  • Braille printer (ask at the Technology Support Desk for printer paper)
