Recruit, hire, supervise, evaluate, and terminate student assistants. Develop and administer a training program. Review and approve time sheets.
- Assign student assistant work hours. Create and coordinate schedules for service desks, tasks, and events.
- Provide excellent customer service to students, faculty, staff, and the community.
- Participate in day-to-day operations of the User Services & Technology Support department.
- Circulate library materials and equipment, process renewals and requests, and ensure patron privacy and maintain confidentiality of records.
- Provide general computer and equipment support and basic software assistance.
- Serve as back-up support for hardware maintenance, repair, and troubleshooting.
