Active Georgia State University students, faculty, and staff can use the library for:
- Studying and research related to coursework
- Research in their field of study
- Duties related to Georgia State University employment
We only allow filming and photography by special permission and in support of university coursework or administrative activities. Requests must be submitted 1 week in advance of project start date: Filming & Photography Request Form
Group Study Rooms
Groups of 2 or more may reserve study rooms up to 21 days in advance for group study, projects, and research. All study rooms have a whiteboard, and some may have TV displays. Dry erase markers are available for checkout from a service desk (PantherCard required.) Please see our Group Study Room Policy for more information.
Atlanta library study rooms are unlocked, and reservations take priority over walk-ins.
Perimeter library study rooms are locked. Keys are available for checkout from a service desk (PantherCard required.) At least 2 people must be present within the first 15 minutes. Reservations are forfeited after 15 minutes.
Multimedia, Gaming Spaces
Located on Atlanta Library North 2 and available for small groups or individuals. Reservations are required for access. Check in at the service desk, Library North 1.

Computer Spaces
Small groups and individuals must reserve computer workstations in CURVE, located on Atlanta Library South 2, and may reserve Bloomberg Terminals, located on Atlanta Library North 1.

Individual Spaces
Individuals may reserve a Mindfulness Room, located on Atlanta Library North 2, or the Lactation Wellness Room, located on Atlanta Study Commons. Reservations required for access.
Exhibit, Display, Event Spaces
The library has spaces for occasional events sponsored by GSU departments. See our Policies page for more information about the Library North Rooftop Terrace, Library Exhibit Gallery, Colloquium Room, and spaces for tabling to interact with students and other library users.
