The Library offers a variety of spaces for Georgia State students, faculty, and staff that can be booked online. Use of University Library facilities by GSU students, faculty, and staff is limited to study and research that is directly related to the individual or group’s academic coursework, research related to their field of scholarship, or within the scope of their applicable job duties at GSU.
Group Study Rooms
Study rooms are for groups of 2 or more persons for the purpose of group study, team-based projects, and collaborative research. Reservations may be made up to 21 days in advance.

All study rooms are equipped with a whiteboard. Dry erase markers are available for check out from the Technology Support Desk, Library North 2. PantherCard is required.

Virtual Reality Lab
Located on Atlanta, Library North 275, the Virtual Reality Lab includes the HTC VIVE Pro 2 headset with integrated headphones, multi-function trackpad wireless controllers, and tracking base stations for exploring a collection of games, VR content, and 360 video.
Videoconferencing Studio
Located on Atlanta, Library North 276, the Videoconferencing Studio allows you to collaborate with peers and scholars, stream your presentation, ace an interview plus create professional multi-camera productions and innovative presentations.
Multimedia Rooms

CURVE
Located on Atlanta, Library South 2, the Collaborative University Research and Visualization Environment (CURVE) is a technology-rich discovery space supporting the research and digital scholarship of Georgia State students, faculty, and staff.
Bloomberg Terminals
Located on Atlanta, Library North 1, the Bloomberg Terminals are for business and financial research using the Bloomberg data service. Learn more from our Bloomberg guide.
Mindfulness Rooms
Located on Atlanta, Library North 264 and 265, the Mindfulness Rooms provide a space for some peace and quiet where you can dim the lights, close your eyes, and just breathe. Advance reservation is required for access. Check in at the Technology Support Desk, Library North 2, at your approved appointment time.
Lactation Room
Located on Atlanta, Library North 317, the Lactation Room is a private space to support breastfeeding students, faculty, and staff. Check in at the Technology Support Desk, Library North 2, for access.
Library North Rooftop Terrace
The primary purpose of the Library North Rooftop Terrace is to provide outdoor study space for library users.
The Library North Rooftop Terrace is also available for occasional events sponsored by GSU departments. The University Library reserves the right to limit the number and timing of events to maintain the space’s primary function. Reservations by student groups or non-GSU organizations or individuals are not accepted.

Filming & Photography Requests
The University Library may be used as a location for Georgia State University filming or photography projects to support course requirements or administrative activities. Unauthorized photography or recording is prohibited within the University Library. Filming and photography requests must be submitted 1 week in advance of the project start date.
